- G2D Tech was a small tech company that licensed several different LCD enhancement technologies. The most popular is called Direct
Bonding. This allows TFT LCDs be optically coupled to a cover lens or a touch screen making them more sunlight readable, weather
resistant, and ruggedized. G2D also licensed a low cost GPS receiver design.
-G2D specialized in Engineer to Order (ETO) solutions / contracts.
- As a co-owner and the only engineer in the company, responsibilities were all encompassing: engineering design, project managing,
indirect manufacturing (customer’s assembly line), customer training, documentation, customer communication, direct manufacturing
(G2D’s assembly line), accounting, legal, sales, marketing, and purchasing.

During this three year period, I held the titles of Engineering Manager (of Project Engineering and Component Evaluation), VP of
Engineering, and Sr. VP of Engineering and Manufacturing.
- During my leadership new product output increased from 10 new products per year to over 60 new products per year with no significant
increase in personnel.
This increase in new products was cited in the annual reports (10K) as the primary reason that the stock price increased from less than
$2.00 per share to well over $36.00 per share.
- Solely responsible for initial product costing and product cost analysis of all Lowrance Electronics’ projects.
- Drove Lowrance into the automotive GPS market.
- Designed the product that won SEMA’s Electronic Product of the year in 2004.
