WORK EXPERIENCE IN GULF:

1. Working in Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo as Assistant Manager (Projects) - Oil &

Gas Division, Bahrain from Sept 2007 till date.

Projects worked:

A. Bahrain Petroleum Company - Service Sea Water Pumps.

B. Gulf Industrial Investment Company (Pelletizing plant) -

ElectroChlorination Unit project.

C. Sitra Power & Water Station (Electricity & Water Authority) - Oil

Booms.

D. Bahrain National Gas - Turbine control system.

* Management of project activities including the supply,

Installation, testing and commissioning.

* Selection of appropriate vendors for project scope.

* Managing project paperwork including schedules, orders,

instructions and certification packages.

Treatment plant, Cooling Towers and Chilled Water systems by

maintaining the chemical dosages as per GE Water & Process

Technologies recommendations.

* To check all dosing parameters and to ensure all related

utilities are as per Bapco specified limits.

* Trouble shooting of equipments in case of any abnormality found

in the process or equipments by conducting lab trials related to

water treatment at customer sites.

* Maintain open line of communication with Bapco employees for

daily reporting of process water treatment parameters & planning

the chemicals deliveries as per Bapco requirement & maintaining

the chemical stock levels in our warehouse.

* Carry out periodic water treatment services in GPIC for their

cooling water system and ensure the parameters a well within the

specified limits.

* Planning and conduct appropriate training modules on chemical

usage, chemical handling and safety to local clients.

Business Development:

* Responsible for business development of Water treatment chemicals

(Oxygen Scavenger, Polymers, Corrosion Inhibitors) and process

chemicals (Biocides, Antifoam, Antiscalant, Neutralizing Amine)

for MSF units, MED units, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Chilled water

system, R.O plants, Sea water Desalination plants from GE Water &

Process Technologies.

* Planning and conduct appropriate training modules and programs to

local clients & Distributor Companies.

* Responsible for business development of Oil & Gas process

equipments like Pumps (Colfax), Burners (John Zink), Process

Column Internals (Koch Glitsch), Electrochlorination Units

(Titanium Titantalum Products), Valves (Kitz) & Analyzers

(Hamilton Sundstrand & ATAC).

coordination with Senior Managers to ensure efficient

2. Worked as Plant Engineer in Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant for

MARAFIQ (Power and Water Utility Company), Jubail - Saudi Arabia, from

Sept 2005 till Aug 2007.

Project: Saudi Basic Industries (SABIC)

* Responsible for operating Industrial Waste Water Treatment plant

for treating SABIC oily waste water.

* Handling Lagoons, Primary Settling Tanks, 3 Phase separator,

Intermediate Filters, Biological Treatment (Aerators &

Clarifiers), DAF, Odor Control Unit, Tertiary Filters,

Chlorination plant and Pumping Station.

* Operation of Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant (Cap-

65,000m3) from SCADA system in accordance with the plant process

& safety procedures.

* Work with Maintenance team and Lab Supervisors to ensure that

plant resources are being utilized to achieve process treatment

objectives.

* Raising notification for releasing the equipments for maintenance

as per the maintenance plan.

* Mechanical & Electrical isolating of the equipments and issuing

Permit to Work Certificate (PTWC) to commence the maintenance job.

* Maintaining the process parameters like BOD, COD, MLSS, TSS, and

Ammonia by mass balance calculations and taking correcting

measures if variation is found.

* Monitoring & control of various chemicals like Polymers, PH

correction, Antifoam, Caustic & Cl2 gas.

* Plant startup due to uneven shutdown (Power failure/Power

fluctuation) & planned shutdown.

* Trouble shooting of the plant in case of uneven equipment

shutdown and process failure in accordance with the design

specifications.

* Proactively leading a team of operators assigned for different

treatment sectors.

* Conduct safety training for operators on MARAFIQ operation safety

procedures, Environmental management System ISO 14001 & OHSAS.

* Preparing Operations Daily Summary Report, Monthly Reports and to

submit the same to Operations Manager in timely manner.

1. Worked as Process Engineer for Hindustan Dorr-Oliver Ltd, Madya Pradesh,

who is the EPC Company for Industrial Waste Water Treatment plants, from

Feb 2003 to Aug 2005.

Project: Bharath Petroleum Corporation Ltd.

* Responsible for operating Industrial Waste Water Treatment plant

for treating Bharath Petroleum Corporation waste water.

* Handling Primary Settling Tanks, Oil separator unit, Intermediate

Filters, Biological Treatment, Open Bed Sand Filters,

Chlorination plant and Pumping Station.

* Operation of Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plants (Cap-

9,000m3) from SCADA & HMI system in accordance with the plant

process & safety procedures.

* Work with Maintenance to ensure that plant resources are being

utilized to achieve process treatment objectives.

* Maintaining the process parameters like BOD, COD, MLSS, TSS, and

Ammonia by mass balance calculations and taking correcting

2. Worked as Production Executive in BHORUKA GASES LTD - Bangalore, from

Oct 2001 - Jan 2003.

Responsibilities as Production Executive:

Independently managed the entire Linde process

operation including,

* Water treatment by regeneration process, which includes checking

& controlling the TDS, PH of the circulating water and supplying

soft water to the plant.

* Charging of Ammonia and oil to refrigeration unit and compressors

which is needed for the process chillers.

* Planning of shutdown and starting the plant when ever required

with trouble shooting and developing design for the plant having

capacity of 30,000m3.

* Monitoring the various process values according to process

specifications i.e. Temperature, Pressure etc and to take

corrective measures if any variation is found.

* Maintained the Plant equipment by changing the suction filters,

scale removal from Heat Exchangers, Deriming or thawing air to

removal clogged moisture & dry ice and also filling the Transport

Tankers with their records.

* To ensure that the production targets are achieved with specified

quality, Environmental Standards and thereby increase the

production.

* In the due course of my work got exposure to the working of DCS

and PLC, various chemical equipments such as Heat Exchanger,

Distillation column, compressor, cryogenic, storage tank,

adsorber etc and various Gas Analyzers used to check purity of

the product gases.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:

Completed Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical from Dayananda Sagar College

of Engineering (Bangalore University) in September 2001.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Have Knowledge of MS-OFFICE, Windows and SAP functional PP & PM module.
