As a mental health technician I work as part of a mental health care
team providing direct assistance to patients. I help provide
socialization skills; assists with all daily living skills, design
and implement group presentation and observe the mentally ill
patients. Also as a technician I assist with administrative duties,
treatment plans and extensive documentation of all parts of the
patients treatment plan. Becoming a successful mental health
technician takes training, qualifications, and education as well as

HONORS AND ACTIVITIES

Directed one of Detroit's Empowerment Zone programs called JOBnet.
This program was presented by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
in 2000 to the local Empowerment Zone Development Council and Detroit
City Council as it's example for best practices. A representative
from HUD and the interview and designation noted in their national
publication interviewed me.
