Material Expediter: I received routing instructions from shop planner in the form of SPOs (Shop Project Orders). Material Routing Instructions, and any special instruction concerning routing, control, and disposition of the parts and assemblies removed from items disassembled for overhaul. Check end items for missing parts and prepare shortage list for shop planner. After disassembly and classification by inspector, segregate and route reusable items to appropriate processing operations such as sandblast, walnut hull, metal finish, chemical clean and so forth. Indicating on the route tag the type of processing and the date to be completed at each operation. Visually inspect each pallet or basket of material for condition prior to routing or removing from area. Made follow-ups on lost or misrouted and urgent demanded items as necessary.
