Dance Incorporated 2006-2012
Tumbling, Gymnastics, Cheer, Dance Instructor- Coached and
choreographed competition routines for students in cheer, tumbling,
gymnastics, and dance. Worked with ages ranging from 4-18 years of age.
Skills Coaching- I am such a enthusiastic coach that is passionate about competing,
having fun, and loves to work with kids. I am however extremely hard working
and do not do well with laziness. I love to compete, work hard and have fun and
achieve the best possible award that is to be earned. I have coached all levels of
power tumbling ranging from beginner to elite. I can spot almost any skill on the
trampoline and floor as long as it can be done safely. I am currently working with
my brother on his triple front brani out from the tumble track into the pit.
Tumbling- I am currently a 5 time national title holder in the power tumbling
world in the organizations of USTA and USAG. I also hold 36 state titles in Iowa
for power tumbling. I have been around tumbling since I was a small child, my
mother is a judge for power tumbling in USTA and the skills have helped me
greatly in coaching and cheering.
Dance- Before I started cheering I attended Barton College in Kansas where I
made the national team and we earned national recognition at the NCA/NDA
National championships. After receiving my Associates degree from there, I tried
out for the Wichita State Univeristy Dance team where I was selected to be a
member on that team as well, where we compete under the UDA/UCA
organization.
Cheer- As a new competitor to the cheer world the last 2 years, I still have been
around it all my life. I love everything about cheerleading and am glad that I
switched over in college from competitive dance to competitive cheer. I am
knowledgable in all elite stunts and the proper way of going in and out of them,
the cheer dance, jumps, technique, and especially tumbling skills that go into a
competitive cheer routine. I have worked with some of the best cheerleaders in the
United States. My friends that I have worked with have attended some of the best
schools in regards to cheer, I have worked with people that attend Texas Tech,
Navaro, Barton, Kansas City All-Stars, Wichita State, Kansas State, and
University of Kansas just to name a few.
