Responsibilities:
• Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling and
coaching employees: supervising sub-contractors.
• Designating and proactively implementing solutions and processes which enhance the
productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Recruiting, managing, and development of community resources.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers within the automotive field engaged in
quality inspection, material handling, warehousing, assembly and sub-assembly,
repacking and quality engineering.
• Meeting budgets by preparing estimates; monitoring expenses; implementing cost-
saving actions.
• Serve as Customer Liaison for various automotive suppliers: data analysis,
spreadsheets and charts.
• Plans projects by studying blueprints, schematics; ordering and scheduling materials
and equipment.
• Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing
standards and procedures; complying with OSHA regulations.
• Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and
different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Performs regular follow up surveys with customer. Provides feedback to the Team
regarding performance.
• Maintaining an active role in the delivery of the best practices while keeping
continuous vigilance on account activities.
Skills/Qualifications:
Strong outgoing personality with the ability to motivate others. Quality Liaison to include
experience in ISO 9000, ISO 14001, Quality Approval, Detailed Work Instructions,
Process Flow Charts, Employee Recruitment and Training, Lean Manufacturing, APQP,
Kaizen, 5P, FEMA.
Computer Skills; Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Pareto Charts, NARS and knowledge
of AutoCAD light 2000.
Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results,
coaching, counseling, and discipline employees; enforcing systems, policies, and
procedures. Communicate effectively and operate in a successful team environment.
Direct supervision of Recruiters /Schedulers and Supervisors. Two plus years of
operating successfully within an OEM (HMA). Prior Quality Management/Project
Management with a focus on Quality.
