Happy Offers is a Commercial shopping mobile app. It provides user to have update of
current offers in the cities, find out existing brands, outlets and products and its
locations and contact numbers city wise. The registered user gets notification
whenever a latest offer is released and its validity.
Contains the following Modules:
• Login module
• Master Module
• MyOffer module
• Zone Alerts module
Contribution/Responsibilities:
• Study Android OS, Contacts Manager, GPS Manager, Telephony APIs for SMS; Contacts manager in
Android needed to be studied in order to understand the way contacts are organized and stored in an
Android handset
• System setup for suitable AVD (Android Virtual Device), download latest updates
• Design suitable GUI for the applications, viz., E mail phone contacts, Send User Location by SMS
and E mail, SMS Packetiser
• Modify Android manifest XML file to include all use permissions such as GPS, SMS
READ/SEND/RECEIVE
• Implement the required GUI by making modifications to the main.xml file
• Insert suitable code to capture the various button and text field events and implement the desired
