NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF QUALIFICATIONS
6.5 years directing and performing intelligence analysis in support of USACAPOC, EUCOM,
and 1st BDE.10th MTN DIV.
2012to Present, Common Language Inc., Intelligence Analyst, CENTCOM, McDill Air Force
Base, FL: I served as an intelligence analyst on the Human Terrain Analysis Team and then Iraq
Governance Team. I perform duties monitoring assigned areas in order to keep abreast the
CENTCOM commander and/or his decision makers of crucial events. I reported the event as
Summary Intelligence Report (SIR) and Commander’s Executive Intelligence Highlight (CEIH)
with source document allowing the commander and the decision maker to review the pertinent
information. I attended counter terrorism meetings representing my section in addition to
Coalition meetings weekly. I served as a subject matter expert (SME) for Iraqi Sunnis and
western Afghanistan tribal dynamics. I monitor traffic utilizing NIPR, SIPR, and JWIC utilizing
WISE, CIA Wire, M3, HOT R, and TAC and other systems to identify and validate information
received from the multiple sources. I assisted in the production of J2 Intelligence Highlights
(JIH) by verifying information addressing my expertise. Communicated with multiple
Intelligence Community (IC) partners by requesting approval of intelligence products and for
verification of information addressing and on other intelligence products. I presented completed
intelligence products to Senior analyst for dissemination. Recorded product in central data base
for future utilization and cataloguing.
2011 to 2012, U.S. Army, Sr. Research Intelligence Analyst Manager, Intelligence Fusion
Center, Herat, Afghanistan: While serving as the Intelligence Analyst, I performed duties as the
RFI manager, accepting requests for information utilizing multiple assets, directing requests to
the correct assets for collection, performing analysis of collected data, and producing high
quality products as requested. I supervised and trained research managers assigned to
subordinate units and coordinated product production of the other managers and requests for
information. I established protocols for working with liaisons of ISAF/NATO partners. I created
a searchable data base by merging multiple data bases from multiple systems to one. I functioned
as the knowledge manager for the organization in my area of operation representing the
organization at knowledge management meetings. I addressed all intelligence matters for the
team and reviewed all reports submitted to higher headquarters for review. I was responsible for
area assessments for villages in my area of responsibility. I served as part of the personal
security team / detachment on missions outside of the base. I attended and presented to
commanders and their general officer, culturally relevant information with the area of operation.
I accepted full responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of the web portal, document
production, and weekly staff briefings to the Director of the Intelligence Fusion Center.
2009 to 2011, US Army, CPT, Executive Officer/S2, 1st BN/1st BDE, USACAPOC: As the Senior
Intelligence/PSYOP Staff Officer, I directed the training of deploying PSYOP Soldiers and
mentored the BN/BDE S2 section to ensure that they were able to execute the Intelligence
Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance. I
utilized JPAS and JCAV to initiate and validate security clearances. I advised the commander
and subordinate units on enemy situations, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and weather and terrain. I
briefed command staff of the status of the unit’s S2 sections. I liaised with the USACAPOC G2
on intelligence and clearance issues. I represented the BDE S2 on Army Support Activity (ASA)
Dix when my unit moved forward from Ft Bragg. Interpreted Air Force, Navy, and Army
security and Intelligence directive to produce the BN standard operating procedures (SOP) on
the newly established Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakeland (JBMDL). I liaised with the National
Ground Intelligence Center to secure briefings for deploying Soldiers. I served as the
Antiterrorism and OPSEC Officer and as the Security Manager creating protocols for the
efficient execution of duties.
2007to 2008, US Army, CPT, Detachment Commander, 350th Tactical PSYOP Operations
Detachment: I successfully supervised and lead 1 headquarters and 4 tactical PSYOP teams
(TPT) within Kirkuk Governance of Iraq (9679 kilometers) through a dynamic PSYOP campaign
conducted utilizing socio cultural traits and trend analysis of the local populace in direct support
of a light infantry brigade assigned to the area of operation (AO). I identified the data
requirement for TPTs to collect for multiple PSYOP campaigns within the AO that addressed
information gaps allowing for a better informed decision. I organized the information collected
from the TPTs, Civil Affairs Teams (CAT), and HUMINT teams to locate and identify source of
influences within the AO allowing the BCT to target asset in to specific areas of influence within
the AO. I designed complex collections plans. I integrated collection plans with patrol sets from
varies units within the supported BDE to include aviation assets to effectively collect data. I
facilitated negotiations between the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) and local leaders to
resolve socio cultural issues within the AO that concerned both parties resulting in an increase
of trust from the residents and the members of the PRT. I served as the subject matter expert
(SME) to the BDE on the local socio cultural and PSYOP issues, providing insight and direction
during the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and crisis situations, providing possible
secondary and tertiary effects of certain actions/decisions by the BCT to reduce the possibility of
negative incidents. I directed, collected, analyzed, and interpreted the collection of assessment
data from across AO to identify trends in the social and economic patterns of the residents to
shape effective PSYOP campaigns. I presented multiple briefings weekly to the BDE
Commander, Deputy Commander Officer (DCO), and the Operations Officer utilizing Power
Point presentations, EXCEL spreadsheets, and executive summaries resulting in a well informed
brigade leadership staff. I reviewed all reports from the TPTs to ensure relevancy and accuracy
of the report before forwarding to higher headquarters. I successfully wrote, submitted, and
executed numerous contract proposals for PSYOP operational support resulting in being
appointed the Fires and Effects Cell contract officer. I approved and awarded funds for the
PSYOP contracts to contractors developing a nourishing relationship with the contractors. I
tracked and reported funds available on the contracts to higher headquarters on a weekly basis
ensuring that my higher headquarters were informed of the status of all contracts resulting in
being ordered to present a brief to the Division Commander via the Chief of Staff (Coos) for the
special funding of a project. I reviewed the passive INTEL collection and analysis to ensure
accuracy before forwarding to the S2 (intelligence) section. I reported the collection of INTEL
from numerous open sources that answered Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) and
Command Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) allowing the brigade commander to make
critical decisions resulting in or report being pick utilized by higher headquarters elements and
outside government agencies. I analyzed and interpreted data through trend analysis, to prepare,
plan, execute, and assess the effectiveness of psychological operations (marketing) campaigns
within the AO. I synchronized IO and PSYOP campaigns within the AO to ensure maximum
effectiveness resulting in a weekly report that incorporated our weekly effectiveness rate being
monitored through the media, social programs, and public awareness. I reviewed, designed, and
approved all media campaign product (radio, billboard, and newspaper) messages for correct
intent and content. I served as the BCT Staff PSYOP Officer where I briefed the highest ranking
officer in the AO, the BCT Commander and his DCO on all PSYOP projects, proposal, and
missions utilizing Excel spread sheets and PowerPoint presentations. I served as the Officer In
Charge (OIC) of multiple Tactical PSYOP Teams responsible for over 990 missions (including 6
air missions). I directed all TPTs on PSYOP missions and training in support of BCT to include
assessments and interviews to be conducted by the TPTs with task force AOs. I served as
spokesman/liaison for the Fire &Effects Coordination Cell. Primary advisor to BCT staff on all
PSYOP issues within AO and served as the subject matter export. I reviewed of photo data of
graffiti around AO to ascertain origin and areas of increased insurgent activities. I served as a
personal security detachment commander for assorted personnel, providing security at meeting
and other events.
2001 to 2007, Cuyahoga County Enforcement Agency, Support Enforcement Officer II. I
performed analysis and provided counseling to clients. I interpreted and analyzed orders from
court. I calculated and analyzed arreages due from absent parent. I reviewed and verified child
support information and payments. I determined modification of cases based on child support
