.Owned / operated a fleet of handy, handymax, supramax sized bulk carriers.
.Controlled a book of cargo requirements, size range between 150,000 mt -
500, 000 mt p/ year.
.Responsible for all voyage and time charter fixtures of all in-house
tonnage.
.Chatering in tonnage, as needed, to cover in-house cargo requirements.
.Negotiating competitive market rates for time charters, voyage charters,
COA's, long and short period charters.
.Used joint ventures and commercial magament agreements to further expand
company's existing business and to limit downside risk.
.Coordinate and monitor all post fixture activities with the Operations and
Accounting Departments. (Incl budget analysis, bunkers, vessel routing,
cargo claims, laytime calculations).
.Establish and maintain good relationships with ship owners / charterers /
ship brokers / P&I clubs.
