Thin Film Manager
Responsible for the start up of a Thin Film Sensor Division. Duties
included building a Class 10 Cleanroom and all plant support systems.
Define and develop a RTD and Strain Gage processes. Purchase equipment
through auctions at reduced costs. Design and qualify processes needed to
produce RTD and Strain Gage products. EG; Platinum Evaporation, RIE Quad
Etching, Oxide Sputtering and Photolithography.
. Planned and directed the expansion of a research and development
operation into full scale manufacturing. Capable of producing over 3
Million RTD elements and 1 Million Strain gage devices/Year, all
through the use of process automation and cycle time reduction.
. Responsible for all product designs and Mask generations.
. Instrumental in the creation of a backend assembly operation utilizing
dicing saws, wire bonders and automated testing for RTD's and Strain
Gage Product lines.
. Actively managed a staff of design engineers, maintenance technicians

Plasma Etch Process Engineer (1993 - 1998)
Responsible for engineering coverage of plasma etch area producing 3K to 4
K wafers a week.
. Developed program recipes for Plasma etching of aluminum, polysilicon,
nitrides and oxides for advanced CMOS, BICMOS, BCD, BIPOLAR and Dabic
Processes. Setup SPC for all Dry/Wet etch processes.
. Transferred Biploar and Bimos processes between internal fabs.
Diffusion/PECVD Process Engineer (1980 - 1988)
Served as a process engineer for a high volume semiconductor operation.
Maintained all engineering indices and installed and qualified new
equipment for a CMOS diffusion and CVD production line.
