Cleveland Division as well as support for corporate network data systems in
San Diego, California and Cincinnati Ohio. Manage six-person IT
Department including server engineers, security, help desk, back-up, and
document imaging.
Established and maintained network communications with offices in San Diego
and Cincinnati as well as connections to American Education Network and
Vtek Systems of California.
Planned, installed, and maintained local area network including the
installation of seven IDF closets and 1 MDF closet using Cisco switches
fiber optic cable and CAT 6e network cable to support both data and voice
communications to 400+ call center and administrative offices.
Provided installation support and administration for LAN/WAN and
telecommunications systems. Administered network security monitoring as
well as intrusion detection and prevention.

Designed and installed a 10 Gigabit Ethernet backbone which support
approximately 10,000 data connections in 88 buildings. Secured financing
and large corporate discount of equipment through Cisco Systems and
KeyBank.
Directed, designed and implemented a campus wide wireless network. Wrote
the RFP, negotiated pricing and performed budgeting. Installed over 800
wireless access points providing wireless coverage for all building and
outdoor areas. Secured acceptance from the campus administration and the
Deans of all colleges.
Designed, installed, and implemented fiber network ring to all schools in
Medina County for Distance Learning purposes. Wrote RFP for fiber path to
all Medina County sites, studied proposals and awarded contract.
Implemented and designed VoIP test bed. Involved ROI strategy, user
acceptance of phone system, training and support.

working with the networking team to develop viable solutions and long-term
