Name: Abdelmoneim Shumo Dodah Ishag
Over 7 year’s experiences’ in the field of humanitarian and development issues with
NGOs and UN agencies. The purpose is to act in timely manner with results based
management depend on the personnel skills that including, innovative thinking,
observations and analysis, respect team views as well as building spirit, managing the
streets, consider conflict sensitivity and gender issues in the communications. Also
sharing the lesson learned with others which would add remarkable achievements.
However, leaving the current position, because it relevant to my education background
and work experiences. Therefore, I feel could create something.

WORK EXPERIENCES:
Case worker/Counselor from 2009 up to current date, with UNDP/DDR/Blue Nile State;
Key Main Duties:
Assist supervisors in socio-economic assessment survey for individual Ex-combatant
reintegration approach as well as it community based. Conduct counseling sessions with
XCs to select the reintegration package. Provide technical advices to (IPs) implementing
partners on DDR program issues like Gender, PWDs and management information system.
Translator. Coordinate with Government institutions and other stakeholders. Provide
capacity building to IPs. Participate in strategic planning meeting for DDR program, Cross
check and verify the IPs milestone reports. Attend technical evaluation meeting of (RFP)
request for proposal. Undertake M&E activity and report. Analyze the assessment reports.
Management files system. Coordinate in signing of technical agreement. Draft work plan
and its annual report. Support the team in client satisfaction survey. Support the team in
contract management. Follow up and monitoring the activity of (CSAC) community security
and arms control.
Key achievements;
Several times I had participated on successful assessments namely pilot project, client’s
satisfaction survey and technical evaluation for selection of implementing partners.
I had written numbers of concept papers, proposals and provided technical capacity
building for the implementing partners on DDR issues. I have been facilitating and leading
People with disability unions on soft and hard components which resulted in remarkable
successful stories in Blue Nile State. I counseled 790 XCs face to face. On efficient manner I
had handled the management information system for the DDR program. Regular
coordinated joint program activities with State Government institutions. I have been
reviewing numerous of proposals, and IPs milestone reports. I have been participating on
developing DDR program strategy. Regular M&E visit to the program sites and drafted may
reports.

Senior Social worker from Sep, 2007 to Sep, 2009 with child development foundation in KRT,
Key Main Duties;
Conduct community mapping assessment (profiling). Conduct (FTR) family tracing and
reunification for child soldiers, Establish child/youth protection network centers. Provide
psychosocial support to children. Utilize the community resources for child protection,
Conduct counseling session with child soldiers and their families. Support the selection of
child protection network and develop training curriculum on child rights. Provide technical
advices to (CPN) child protection network on budgeting of activities, Supervisor the
advocacy and awareness sessions, Provide advices on classify of children ages with
applicable topics for the focus group discussion. Organize trips for child entertainment.
Collaboration and coordination with child concern institutions that to promote child rights.
Draft weekly and monthly report to project manager. Systemic follow up and monitoring
children who have enrolled in services institution. Collect and assembles data and information
with regard to child protection issues and provide updated information on project financial and
administrative status for analysis and report purpose.
Key achievements;
I was carried out several communities mapping assessment in Khartoum and Omdorman.
Cross checked and verified information’s concerning the resettlement of Child soldiers in
Khartoum State this led to reintegration of 35 child soldiers.

Key Main Duties:
Data Collection and Filling in Questionnaire, Data encoding into data base system. Conduct
daily interviews with street children; explain to community the values of health insurance
card.
Social worker from Nov 13th 2004 to Jun 1st, 2005 with child development foundation in KRT
Key Main Duties:
Compile and submit weekly report to project manager. Attend weekly meeting with project
manager. Attend monthly meeting with staff team. Fill up questionnaires of case study.
Daily follow up to Street children at apprenticeship & vocational training centers.
Organize recreational activities for street children and guide them.
Enroll the street children who had rehabilitated in school and apprenticeship. Problems
solve for street children. Reunify street children their families and provide income
generating projects.
