I was a production recruiter for five years on mission numbers of 4-5 per month. I was moved to
Team Leader where I managed the largest recruiting team in the state ranging from 17 – 20
recruiters on varying missions of 3-5 per month. The last position I held was State Operations
Manager for 127 personnel where I was responsible for the State’s mission, the processing of
enlistment packets, the implementation of Federal programs from National Guard Bureau, the
coordination of shippers to and from Active Duty Training and the general welfare of all my
soldiers.

I was a frame carpenter for four years, capable of reading prints, framing walls, cutting rafters,
installing windows, doors and cabinets. I learned how to operate all tools associated with the
trade to include operating a backhoe, front loader, lull, forklifts and small dozers. I began to run
jobs to include ordering all material and scheduling subcontractors in ’84. Overseen and
supervised projects to include some where union skilled trade and laborers were on site.
