health care and the national standards of practice including ethics. Participated in a myriad
of in-class exercises that exemplified the intricacies of the biomedical culture, and learned
self-critiquing and memorization techniques. Completed 30 hours of language lab practice
and volunteered as an interpreter at the Jamaica Hospital Queens. In the process to be
certified nationally by CCHI (Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters).
