I . P r ima ry Function:
Job Description-
To contribute to the profitabili ty and growth of the company through efficiently rendering administrative
services especially on matters pertaining to the application of programs to remove hazards from the workplace and to correct
u nsafe work practices.
I I. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Accident Prevention
a. Identifies accidents causing activities and practices and recommends improvement.
b. Identifies necessary safety training for each position that is prone to accidents.
c. Reports on safety acts and violation of speed limits particularly company vehicles, forklift, jack
l ift.
d. Recommends necessary measures on safety practices to avoid accidents (i.e. additional lights on
d im areas, avoid pathways of forklift).
e. Monitoring the lighting level and make sure areas are well illuminated and reports sub –
standard products.
f. Establishes fire prevention measures.
g. Ensures fi re extinguishers are available, unobstructed and in good working condition (not
expired).
h. Makes proper labeling of emergency lights, and posting of fire exit directions and f loor plan
layout.
i. Ensures fire drill is conducted regularly.
j. Monitors storage, handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals.
2. Containment and Handling
a. Follows reporting system.
b. Establishment of root causes and counter measures.
c. Implementing corrective/ preventive measures to avoid recurrence of accidents.
d. Conducts investigation system.
3. P IKA - P IKA
a. Generally maintains cleanliness of the workplace premises and reports areas not observing
Pika-Pika standards.
b. Suggests use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
4. Legal Requirements
a. Oversees the implementation of Safety Programs in the area/ safety rules at work.
b. Establish Health and Safety Committee. Conduct Health and Safety meetings on t ime.
c. Updates Fire Brigade Table of Organization.
d. Secure government permits and licenses related to Health, Safety, Fire, and Environment
among others.
5. Records
a. Maintains record of accidents, makes proper analysis and ensures counter measures are made
on time.
b. Guarantees that accidents occurrence is reported within the hour.
c. Reprimands, calls the attention of employees relating to unsafe acts.
d. Coordinates with supervisor’s employees not observing safety guards that may result to
accident. (i.e. use of PPE, horse playing, chatting while working, etc.).
6. Compliance to Safety Regulations by Contractors
a. Orientation to contractors and their personnel to company safety and regulations.
b. Implements checking of activities of contracted personnel particularly on the wearing of PPE’s,
Pika-Pika on the site speed limit and fire hazards brought by welding activities.
7. Emergency Preparedness
a. Responsible in the training of employees on emergency preparedness.
b. Makes internal preparation in case of emergencies.
8. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

I . P r ima ry Function
Job Description-
To contribute to the profitability and growth of the company by efficiently providing technical assistance to Tube
Maintenance Section in accordance with work instructions and workmanship standards to ensure that the required levels
of production and quality are achieved as guided by the quality policy and quality system.
I I. D U T I ES AND RESPONS IB I L I T I ES:
1. Performs and accomplishes daily and/ or regular activities.
a. Attends and actively participates in sectional meetings.
b. Complies with assigned shift schedule. Renders overtime when the need arises.
c. Achieves 96% inventory tally rate of machine spare parts. Submits weekly inventory of finished
p roducts and
raw materials every 2nd working day of the week.
d. Minimizes quality concerns attributable to machine maintenance functions.
e. Conducts preventive maintenance based on schedule.
f. Responds to machine t rouble within standard response time.
g. Ensures no downtime due to non-procurement of fast moving machine parts.
h. Ensures no machine stoppage due to inadequate maintenance.
2. Reports daily activities, accomplishments and problems.
a. Reports any problem that may cause delay in work/ operation.
b. Updates own chart/ reports or as may be required.
c. Reports timely and accurately all self-made and noted quality in the assigned work/process.
3. Contributes to the company’s continuous improvement program through Kaizen and
Q uality Circle Activities.
a. Participates in Quality Circle activities.
b. Submits Kaizen proposals or recommendations for improvement in productivity, quality and
working
environment to have cheaper, easier, faster and safer operation or safer and healthier working
environment.
4. Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and safety in the workplace .
a. Implements documented work instruction on disposal of materials.
b. Assumes responsibility for the quality of the work/ products under his/her care.
c. Performs “Pika-pika” checking before and after work/ operation and ensures that the area of
responsibility is
always clean.
d. Ensures that company property and company issued materials, tools, supplies and equipment are
constantly kept clean, safe, and in order.
e. Wears properly the complete uniform, and/ or safety gadgets.
5. Participates in the implementation and improvement of programs about the
E nvironment Management System (EMS).
a. Practices/ implements waste segregation and executes proper disposal of waste according to
p rocedures.
b. Recommends improvements or measures concerning waste management, conservation of
resources and
participates in the implementation of new practices and programs.
c. Reports to proper authority practices contrary to procedures.
6. Works towards self-development in becoming a better person and helps in promoting
better working relationship.
a. Makes use of company resources available to self-development:

b. Follows strictly company rules and regulations, practices and values contained in the Code of
