Buyer (Woman’s Clothing and Accessories)
BECO is the largest department store in Venezuela. It has 7 large stores in the major cities in Venezuela. As a buyer for the Woman’s Department, I was responsible for various brands, including ESPRIT, Tommy Hilfiger and Angel Sanchez Concepto (Angel Sanchez is Venezuelan’s most recognized designer). With a budget exceeding US$ 1 million, I worked with suppliers in Colombia and Panama. I was responsible for preparing the Woman’s Fashion department budget as well as building the new accessories section. I also had responsibility in overseeing some of the store’s visual marketing.
