Emotional and supportive care of patients undergoing detoxification and helping them to find appropriate aftercare to ensure continued abstinence from mind altering substances. I worked as an LPN from February 2010-May 2012. Job responsibilities included triage, patient work up, accurate documentation, paper free charting, assuring patients insurance would cover physician ordered testing or procedures, obtaining accurate paperwork from patients and ensuring that all current prescriptions were listed for physician, collecting urine specimens for drug testing to ensure patients were taking medications prescribed by our physician and to ensure that they were not taking any illegal substances or medications not prescribed to them. Assisted physician with positioning and marking patient correctly for epidurals and nerve blocks, with use of C-arm. Duties were very vast and wide spread as the physician required all staff to multi-task and cross train for all positions within the office including clerical duties, regardless of job title.
I worked as an RN from May 2012-July 2012. Job responsibilities same as above and any/all duties required by physician.

CNA- responsibilities included assessing patients to ensure their safety, health and welfare. Obtained vital signs for nursing staff. Helped patients with daily personal hygiene and care, including grooming, bathing, hair care and dressing. Help with bowel or bladder requirements such as helping to and from bathroom or assisting with bedpan. Transported to and from physician ordered testing within the hospital, as well as transporting to personal vehicle upon discharge, and any and all other tasks which the nursing staff requested within my scope of practice.
ER Clerk-responsibilities included checking in patients. Obtaining insurance and personal information. Verifying insurance, obtaining copayments and deductibles, setting payment arrangements up for patients. Obtaining copies of IDs and insurance cards, filing, making charts for patients, making sure all information was transported to appropriate personnel for proper treatment and various other duties as required by supervising staff.

Camp Counselor- Worked throughout the summer as a camp counselor. Responsible for overseeing approximately 15-20 children, ages 5-13, during all activities throughout every day. Those activities included swimming, skating, outdoor games, lunch time, rest period, etc.

Cashier/Stocker- Worked on front line as a cashier. Responsible for accurately checking out customers and helping them with anything which they may request, including but not limited to location of products, price checks, check cashing, giving change, etc. Responsible for giving correct change. Had to pull old merchandise to front and put new merchandise to back after pricing with pricing gun. Had to be able to accurately work calculator, cash register and pricing gun.
