$300-500 million private steel manufacturer providing structural framing

products to construction industry. Company has five manufacturing locations

in four states plus separate Engineering and Sales Offices.

Director HR

Oversaw Employee / Labor Relations, Employment, Performance Management,

Counseling, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, site management. Worked

closely with Production Management: Union Relations, Union Work Rules,

Safety/WC, Communications, Recognition, Training, Attendance Policy.

Provided HR support for Trucking Affiliate (multiple states). Negotiated

Attendance Policy, Union Contract Extension, two Union Contracts.

Implemented first Company Service Recognition Program which was well

received, covered all employees' service year marks and cost company less

with each successive year.

. Implemented HR ADP HRIS; successfully negotiated 30% price reduction

in Payroll Service Costs

. Compared providers, negotiated rates and ensured annual Sexual

Harassment Training for all locations at significant cost savings to
