This is not a resume but a brief overview of my most recent past work experience and personality
characteristics. A cover letter and resume in one. I expect this information to portray an organized,
responsible, people friendly, multi tasker who is well spoken, hard working and detail oriented.
I ran my own commercial cleaning business for the past 5 years. We specialized in commercial
retail lease space. I was the owner of the company which in turn made me in charge of marketing,
public relations and accounting. I initiated and set up over 100 accounts with contractors all over
the southeast. These cleaning accounts had to be perfectly organized, scheduled and carried out
due to being checked over by a team of inspectors/owners and store management. I ran cleaning
crews on a daily basis consisting of at least 3 up to 30 people per day. I organized all shifts and
scheduling issues for 30 employees for several different jobs at once. I handled all
bookkeeping/accounting for the day to day running of the business.
Before starting my own business, I worked in the restaurant industry for 7 years. Locations include
Steak n Ale, Checkered Parrot and Barnacles. Positions included server, bartender and manager.
Duties included hiring and training new employees, organizing and handling all company
marketing and promotional events, supervising all of the day to day running of the front of the
house activities.
I graduated from the Catering management program at Penn Foster University. I am currently
enrolled at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, I just finished up my first year and currently hold
a 3.7 GPA in my healthcare core classes. I will be transferring to Athens Technical College to
finish up my degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
I am a compassionate, customer service oriented person. I am an articulate, great on my feet
problem solver. I am computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office,
Quicken, Excel, and Access. I have reliable transportation, cell phone, home phone, fax and email.
I am 33 years old a woman and very clean cut.
