Work Experience
Marketing Public Relations Part-Time Job 01/14/2013-5/14/2013
During this three month internship in Holland Ohio at Marketing Public Relations where I Learned
how to use the skills I learned from MCCC to create, maintain, update, and help with and
complete daily tasks.
• Using WordPress I created/added additional pages to the client websites we were
working on, helped upkeep sites by adding and replacing content, images, changing site
styles. Used skills in PHP to customize and edit the admin pages on WordPress to be
more user-friendly so that the clients could add and edit their content by themselves
without the need of a programmer.
• With the skills I learned I used HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, Xml to accomplish many
tasks including but not limited to; changing the code necessary to change content
throughout the websites pages: images, headers, styles, paragraphs, and different kind
of content and features all really depending on the client and the wishes and preferences
they had.
• Used Filezilla to download the pages off client servers and made the necessary changes
to the websites using Notepad++.
• Excellent Customer Service skills obtained at R/P sitting in on meetings of potential and
current clients, talking to them about the necessary changes of content and information
they liked to be emphasized, through the new content.
• At R-P did a lot of work with Survey Monkey manually entering and updating surveys that
we were using, depending on our needs and that of the clients.
• Used Hostmonster for hosting our websites and used it for setting up new websites.
• Troubleshooting: Maintaining and diagnosing computers at work that weren’t working
properly, updating software, installing programs, and setting up desks for employees
(monitor and desktop).
• Used Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to make documents showing what there was
left to do for each website. I also used them to organize and present information at weekly
meetings about our projects.

Adult Sitter: First-hand experience with customer service, worked on making the patients
comfortable, and worked the night shift with the ICU patients.

Helper/Installer: I worked with a lot of people, and tried to enhance the level of customer service,
installing tiles, and anything that the customer needed.
Tim’s Tile Installation Part-Time Job 2011-2012
Helper/Installer: I worked and help maintain the company; I was called to separate job sites and
oversaw many projects. Managed over a lot of people getting work done, making sure the job
was finished under budget, on time, and made sure the quality of the work was up to the
customers standards.
