Responsibilities:
Database management
- Writing programs for systems using foxpro, visual foxpro,
Dbase IV, MySQL.
- Creating databases and designing screens using access, visual
foxpro, Dbase IV, MySQL.
- Entering survey data and analyzing it to help in selection of
patients to be recruited for assessment in the various
studies.
- Updating databases and making backups.
- Creating queries using the various applications already
listed.
- Data extraction, merging, label design and printing.
- Checking the questionnaires to ensure that the information is
appropriate for easy creating the systems.
- Organizing the data entry of various projects such that the
final cleaned up output is given to the project head or file
stored where they can be easily accesses when needed.
- Reporting on the status of the entries after required
duration of time.
- Analysis using EPI Info, Stata, Excel and SPSS which includes
the drawing of Graphs.
- Managing data for a multicenter study carried out in four
other African countries.
