activities for CODA - a U.S. - based electric vehicle company. Directed

the program launch at Harbin / Hafei Auto for all electric vehicle

production (Body, Paint, Assembly, Engineering and Supplier Development ),

as well as a lithium battery operation located in Tianjin. Also worked on

established new partnerships with Chinese OEMs for production of new

electric vehicles. Managed a staff of 30 - both foreign and local

nationals.

Independent Consultant Working as a quality and manufacturing

efficiency consultant for various China Automotive OEM and Tier One

suppliers. Expertise in the areas of Lean, efficiency and quality

improvement. Also worked with several non - automotive manufacturers of

wind turbines, power tools and electronic products.

for the company. This included all operations within China - 14

manufacturing sites of home and kitchen appliances, as well as all US -

based quality personnel. Scope included quality planning, quality

engineering, quality operations, quality assurance, supplier development,

testing and compliance as well as driving change management within the

overall company. Managed a staff of approximately 50 salaried employees

ranging from Sr. Directors to Engineers. Drove change management and

Developed and executed a product - wide return rate reduction program that

resulted in savings of 10 million USD.

Chief Manufacturing & Operations Executive - Asia. Responsible for all

manufacturing and quality operations within the Asia Region - vehicle

production facilities in Beijing, Fuzhou and Taiwan. Also lead the JV

projects between Chrysler and Chery Automotive and Great Wall Motors in

Baoding, China. Included (6) export programs for Chrysler, as well as

overall teaching, coaching and driving Mfg. and Quality system / process

improvements along with lean manufacturing best practices. Established new

business plans and strategies with the Chrysler Asia President for other

business cases and new joint ventures throughout the region. Key member of

aspects of quality processes and quality improvement activities across all

SGM and GM China Operations, which covers (6) Vehicle Assembly Plants and

(2) Powertrain Manufacturing Facilities. Overall areas of authority and

Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Product Engineering (PATAC)

organizations and ensuring that global processes are being followed.

Leading implementation and improvement of GMAP processes - In-Process /

Delivery Quality, GVDP / GPDP, Product Launch, CPIP process, J.D. Power

improvement planning, warranty and reliablity / durability improvement.

Responsible for driving GM Global and AP Regional quality processes and
