G&P Trucking Company’s core competency is truckload freight. Additional services include intermodal

shipping, expedited delivery, dedicated routes, warehousing, third party logistics and brokerage. In the 75

years in business the company has grown to a payroll of about 700 drivers, maintenance workers and

administrative support. In 2012, revenues topped $116 million.

On Site Manager / Dedicated Operations; Lowes Regional Distribution Center

Solely responsible for overseeing daily operations and deliveries to 62 Lowes Stores assigned to

Dedicated Operations throughout the North Atlantic Region. A $4 million annual revenue account for

G&P Trucking.

Responsible for coordinating with Lowes Regional DC staff to insure on time DC to store deliveries and

maximum use of out bound / inbound resources through RDC related vendor backhauls to affect

maximum loaded to empty outbound / inbound to DC miles.

Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a subordinate Driver Supervisor, On site Mechanic and

30 CDL Class A Drivers.

During my tenure as Shipping Manager, my major accomplishments included; dramatically reducing picker

error rates while increasing production and quality awareness. I also substantially reduced commodity loss

by instituting rigorous quality control and order tracking programs. I developed a warehouse slotting plan

that increased overall shipping productivity by sequencing pick location visits based on SKU movement.

This dramatically reduced order selector travel time during a picking tour and increased overall picking
