2012/October-Present. Analytical Branch Manager- Anniston Chemical
Disposal Facility- Subcontractor Battelle. Manage staff's technical
performance, training, and development. Ensure operations are achieved in
accordance with safety, environmental, quality, and security regulations in
support of hazardous waste incineration facility. Manage non-staff
resources including equipment, supply-chain, and procedures. Establish
performance goals and develop skills. Review budget and plan department
staffing. Conduct interviews, employee reviews, and disciplinary actions.
Serve as Battelle Safety Officer and manage chemical hygiene program.
Conduct environmental, safety, and quality inspections. Implement process
improvements based on trend analysis. Interface with regulatory agencies,
department managers, and work force. Provide reviews and approvals to

and analysis of hazardous materials, personal protective equipment, lock-
out/tag-out, waste disposal and container management, preventative and
corrective maintenance, new hire and refresher training, and scheduling.
Write and provide updates to SOPs/LOPs. Provide analytical support and
waste classification in the destruction of chemical warfare agents. Ensure
operations are performed in accordance with permit regulations. Validate
data, coordinate waste analysis with contracted laboratories, and ensure
quality review of reports and plans submitted to regulatory organizations.

agent extractions, traditional wet chemistry methods to include titrations,
pH, specific gravity, percent free chloride, total suspended solids,
percent NaOH, and particulate analysis. Comply with regulatory
requirements and exercise analysis in accordance with operating procedures.
2000/May-2004/February. Safety Director and Approvals Chemist- Giant
Resource and Recovery of Attalla. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
and RCRA permit including: PSM, WAP, TSCA, CAA, and CERCLA. Provide
employee training and industrial hygiene monitoring. Conduct respirator
fit testing, coordinate random employee drug screening, file worker's
compensation claims, and evaluate work areas for appropriate personal
protective equipment selection. Review MSDS of hazardous materials for
