database programming skills, in a structured, team environment.

Summary
. Currently support an FDA contract as a senior software developer in
Oracle 10g (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, triggers, functions, procedures,
packages) and Cold Fusion 9. Work closely with DBAs. Use TOAD for
SQL development and Eclipse for Cold Fusion development. Use
Subversion for source control.
. Have worked in all phases of software development, including meeting
with clients, gathering and writing requirements, design, development,
testing, deployment and maintenance, managing the change request
process, and participating in peer review efforts and process
improvement.
. Supported the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Biological Data
Processing System (BDPS) as a senior Oracle developer, leading a group
of programmers in converting the BDPS Supplier Reporting System from a
mainframe to a Web-based application, developing ASP pages and PL/SQL
packages and stored procedures, written in Microsoft Visual InterDev
and FrontPage.

. FDA Mission Accomplishment and Regulatory Compliance Services (MARCS)
Project (3/2012-present). Serve as developer responsible for enhancements
and maintenance of applications written in Cold Fusion 9 and Oracle 10g,
Oracle Forms/Reports with PL/SQL, triggers, functions, procedures, and
packages. Maintain source code in Subversion. Participate in full SDLC,
including writing System Design documents, Peer Review, and Change
process. Participate in packaged releases. Provide Tier-3 support.

. NIH / NHLBI Resequencing and Genotyping (RS&G) Project (4/2009-03/2012).
Served as sole developer responsible for enhancements and maintenance of
Website using ColdFusion 8 / Fusebox architecture, HTML, CSS, and MS SQL
Server 2000. Responsible for requirements, coding, testing,
documentation, and deployment.
. CDC / FDA Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) Project (1/2005-
4/2009). Served in a leadership role on the VAERS project. Performed
requirements gathering, software design and development, testing, and
process improvement tasks. Performed software development using
ColdFusion 6.1 and 8, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Zope, Python, and MS SQL
2000 and 2005. Wrote Transact-SQL stored procedures to compare and
analyze the quality of data in a MS SQL Server 2000 database and a MS
Access database. Wrote code in the Macromedia HomeSite+ environment and
used MS Visual SourceSafe version control software. Was responsible for
coding enhancements to the VAERS intranet and E-submission form, as well
as maintenance tasks. Performed requirements gathering and testing for
major redesign of public Website and E-submission form. Gathered
requirements and implemented the use of the CDC's PHINMS application to
transmit confidential medical data over the Internet. Lead effort to
implement E2B R(3) / HL7 messaging through the FDA Electronic Submissions
Gateway (ESG).
. Johns Hopkins University (JHU) INFO Project. (8/2004-12/2004).
Responsible for writing and executing test plans for several Web
applications. Test cases were stored in Telelogic DOORS.
. US Army Medical Research and Materiels Command ERMS Project (5/2004-
8/2004). A Grants Management project. Wrote an Oracle PL/SQL package
that scrubbed data and generated warning and error reports. Used Oracle
Designer 9i.
. NIH / NCI Biological Data Processing System (BDPS) Project (2000-2004).
Lead Oracle applications developer. Lead the redesign and migration of
the NCI Supplier Reporting System (SRS) from a legacy character-based
terminal and print system to a Web-enabled extranet. The system was
developed using Active Server Pages (ASP) containing HTML, VBScript,
Jscript, ActiveX Data Objects. Converted embedded SQL logic in Pro*C
into PL/SQL package. Wrote numerous Users' Guides.
Allied Technology Group, Inc., Rockville, MD, 1995 to 2000, Software
Developer
. NIH / NCI Biological Data Processing System (BDPS) (1995-2000). Lead
application developer supporting the NCI investigational drug screening
discovery program. Managed applications development staff supporting the
Developmental Therapeutics Program. Was responsible for the design,
development, and maintenance of applications to assist researchers in
analysis and reports of results for potential AIDS and cancer treatment
agents. Coordinated the upgrade from Oracle 7 to Oracle 8i and from SAS6
to SAS8 which involved documenting, converting, testing and installing an
SQL*Menu and hundreds of Forms4.5 forms, Pro*C, PL/SQL, and SAS
applications.
