I have recently graduated from Reedley College with my Associate of Sciences in Biological Sciences. I will be transferring to a four-year university to get my bachelors degree in Nursing. OBJECTIVE

Organization: Khalsa Phulvardi

Khalsa Phulvardi is a non-profit organization that teaches children about the Sikh religion. I have taught children how to read and write Punjabi, sing, and play the instrument, harmonium. Also I have taken the children to music competitions to compete around California, in which they have gotten First Place. I have organized camps every summer for this organization and have been a counselor.

Organization: West Coast Sikhi Camp

Selma, CA

West Coast Sikhi Camp is a branch of Khalsa Phulvardi. It is a annual winter camp for Sikh youth from ages 13+. I am one of the core volunteers and have organized the camp speakers, activities, and am the kitchen manager.

Organization: Camp Jeevan

I am an organizer and counselor for Camp Jeevan that is a weeklong camp in the summer. I mainly taught Gatka, the Sikh martial arts to the campers, which is a self-defense, hand to hand and sparing lessons. I also helped in the kitchen to prepare food for the campers and volunteers.
