WORK EXPERIENCE

Machine Knowledge

Operate single stroke and high speed punch presses. Periodically checking part for defects and making routine adjustments when needed. Keep material lubricated, fill out order forms and order material when necessary.

Check all safety devices and machine for proper use.

Visually inspect parts for any defect.

Utilize gauges to assure parts can be properly fit.

Use precision instruments such as, veneer caliper and micrometer to verify specifications.

Setup Experience

The performing tasks involved retrieving blueprint and job order from files. Locate die tool or tools, order all material, make height and roller adjustment on the machine and blueprint reading.

Visually check die tool or tools for any damage.

Make sure die tool is according to blueprint specifications.

Setup dies tool in press and secure and adjust press.

Check parts using precision instruments according to blueprint specifications.

Maintain setup once quality control inspection verifies specifications.

Other Skills

Can be assigned to any the following areas: cleaning, breakdown, machine prep, machine assembly, motor sub-assembly, plumbing sub-assembly, components test and clean, material handling or shipping.

- Basic electrical wiring, routine testing of mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic components of assembled units and make necessary adjustment and /or corrections.

- Use and set up all required power tools and equipment.

- Work from procedure sheets, parts diagrams, specification sheets, or verbal/written instructions.

- If assigned to refurbish shipping area, receive and ship all dish machines for the refurbish area. Verify the accuracy of serial numbers. Maintain dirty machine inventory and preparation of bill of ladings. Work well as part of a team and have the ability to get along well with other people.
