SUMMARY OF RESEARCH
1.Since I was post graduate, I have been studying arresten---an angiogenesis inhibiting factor. I
construct eukaryotic expression vector of arresten and expressing arresten protein in CHO, then I
investigate the relationship of arresten and proliferation/apoptosis/ migration/tube formation of
Huvec, finality I found arresten can inhibit liver metastasis of colorectal cancer in nude mice
by inhibiting angiogenesis. So I am major researching of VEC and I am interesting in research work
about relation of VEC and disease;
2. Implementation of the project of NSFC of my tutor;
3.graduation thesis: mechanisms of arresten anti-angiogenic and arresten-mediated inhibition of
hepatic metastasis of colon cancer.
RESEARCH TECHNIQUES AND SKILLS
After long time researching work I have master technology of cell culture of HUVEC and tumor
cells, plasmid construction of arresten, gene transfection arresten to CHO, apoptosis by flow
cytometry, PCR and western blot, I have experience of making model of liver metastasis from
colorectal cancer in nude mice.
