Description:
Our Project takes up the Design, Stress and Fatigue
Analysis of a typical naval Aircraft toggle, which is basically made up of
two links and a pin. The primary function of toggle is to have relative
axial motion of piston within the cylinder but to constrain the torsional
rotation during landing, taxing & takeoff.
Landing gear toggle of a Naval Aircraft is
modeled using CAD software (CATIA V5 R12) and analysis by Finite Element
Analysis (FEA) software package-MSC Pat ran for (For Pre and Post-
processing) and solver is MSC NASTRAN (For Analysis).
Responsibilities:
Design the model of toggle in landing gear using CAD software (CATIAV5
R12)
Accomplishments:
Participated in KALPANA CHAWLA SCIENCE FAIR in 9th standard.
Participated in workshop on AUTOMOBILE&ENGINE DESIGN certified By SGT-
INTERNATIONAL, ISTP-CANADA.
Participated in several games and sports held in school and college and won
prizes.
