Sept. 1974 Assistant Manager, Pakistan Steel Mills Industries - Karachi,
Pakistan
Oct. 1994 Worked as an assistant manager for a major industrial complex
in Metallurgy Department of Pakistan steel Mills (major
manufacturer of Steel) for 20 years. My duties involved
overseeing the complete casting process, including the
preparation of 130 tons casting ladles used to pour molten steel
into moulds to produce castings. I was also in-charge of the
brick linings of ladles and it's preheating process to sustain
the 1700C temperatures.
My
Responsibilities also include train junior Trainees; supervise the steel
making process; monitor service maintenance in keeping the whole operations
run smooth to avoid potential breakdowns and downtime; disseminate and
supervise job assignments to staff of thirty (30) employees, provide
technical assistance to staff and other duties as assigned.
