PERSISTENCE AND DRIVING THE POINT OF THOSE PARKING FACILITIES WOULD

> Working with San Antonio Airport Authority on regulation concerning
their permit to discharge. The airport was changing the
interpretation to the state rule and based on their interpretation of
the law this issue would have increased operating expenses for all the
airline carriers. I contacted all carriers and they agreed with my
approach to getting the airport to correct this before signing the new
contract. The change would have increased operating cost at the
airport by 20-30%
> The modernization of the waste water treatment facility which
increased the efficiency of the treatment process.
> Created a paper recycling program for the plant using a local
nonprofit at no cost to the facility reducing waste from the plant by
25-30%.
> Successfully closing a contamination issue on company property. I was
required by state law to report any contamination onsite to the agency
when found. I was responsible for working with the agency after
collecting data and sampling analysis was determined and background
established on what actions would be the best for this property.
Working with the Legal Department the decision to D-list the property
since it would always be used as an industrial location was determined
to be appropriate. The state agency agreed with the decision and
approved the closure procedures and the file was marked closed and
corrected without incurring any fines are reports.
> Developed a very good working relationship with field office staff
