Was the first to oversee the pre-deployment processing of
linguists in Fairfax, Virginia for US Army contract in
Iraq/Afghanistan; developed the pre-deployment program and
assisted in building the processes and infrastructure
currently in place with Mission Essential Personnel's
Pre-Deployment Processing Center in Baltimore, MD.
Conducted human resources briefings, during which
employment contracts, insurance benefits, corporate and tax
policies were thoroughly explained and applicants'
questions answered
Conducted security briefs during which requirements for
getting and maintaining a government-issued security
clearance were thoroughly explained
Interacted directly with an average of 25-30 linguists in
any given week, addressing a wide variety of issues to
ensure their deployment as efficiently as possible
