OBJECTIVE

Excellent understanding and extensive hands-on experience of Cisco Routers

and Switches,TEMS,MAPINFO, Network Monitoring tool, Experienced in

providing motivation, guidance and an up to date networking consultancy

Drive Test Engineer

. 2G 3G LTE drive testing.

. SSV,s creation using mapinfo professional.

. Troubleshooting various 2G Parameters during Drive like Call Drops, Rx

Quality, FER, Rx level, Handover failures etc.

. Troubleshooting various 3G Parameters during Drive like HSDPA, HSUPA,

Coverage, CS fallback, PS. Etc

. Troubleshooting various 4G Parameters during Drive like RSRP,RSRQ,DL,UL,Idle Coverage, DL coverage,UL coverage.

. Knowledge of TEMS and Map Info for Data Analyzing and Report

generation.

. Using TEMS observing the particular cell parameters such as Rx Level,

Rx Qual, SQI,, BER, FER etc.

. Done RF Drive in DEDICATED/IDLE mode.

. GSM basic network architecture:- MS,BTS,BSC,MSC.

Executive Network Engineer

. Monitor and Manage International and nation-wide Enterprise IP/MPLS

CORE Network consisting of 17 POPs connected through Fiber optics, E1,

E3 and STM 1, Fast Ethernet and GIG Ethernet links.

. Planned, tested and evaluated various equipments, softwares, IOSs and

procedures for use within the network infrastructure.

. Monitor, manage and troubleshoot Internet upstream connectivity with

service providers like (Transworld, PIE).

. Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routers, Switches, WLAN

access points.

. Commission new internet connections for corporate clients, which

include, assigning ip address range, Controlling Bandwidth.

. Monitoring network performance using different monitoring tools for

capacity and bandwidth utilization e.g. SolarWinds ORION Network

Performance Monitor, OPennms, Netflow.

. Advance configuration and optimization of OSPF, BGP.

. Co-ordinate with the Transmission and VoIP Teams to commission new

Links and to resolve problems as they occur.

. Configure P2P Layer 2 VPN using MPLS (AToM) for the clients.

. Evaluate Observation, Complaint and Bandwidth Utilization Reports

created by NOC Engineers during the shift hours.

. Also manage and Monitor the LAN infrastructure of our main NOC sites

that include Local Linux based servers (DNS, File server),

Workstations and their internet connectivity.

. Perform site surveys on LDI Co-locations and MSC of our partner Long

haul service provider, gather requirements and co-ordinate with them

to commission new links.

. Assign and evaluate tasks assign to Junior Network Engineers.

UBL Metro Ethernet Project

. As a part of the team, I took part in design, implementation and

management of the whole project.

. Configure, implement and manage P2P Layer 3 connectivity for over

150+ branches of UBL bank all over Pakistan

. Deploy and configure Cisco ME3400 series switches at various locations

all over Pakistan for the project.

. Create MPLS VPN for intercity connectivity and controlling bandwidth

of each branch using QOS.

Karachi Security & Surveillance Project

. As a part of the team, I took part in design, implementation and

management of the whole project.

. Provide Layer 2 connectivity for over 160 deployed CCTV camera sites

all over Karachi city on Fiber Optics.

. Deploy and configure Cisco ME3400,3560 and 2960 switches and

controlling bandwidth using QOS.

Channel-5 Lyer2 circuits

. Deploy and configure Layer 2 MPLS circuits in major cities of Pakistan

for their Multimedia content delivery.

. Deploy and configure Cisco ME3400 switches and controlling bandwidth

using QOS.
