I am a motivated professional landman, interested in taking the next step in my career. Over the past few years, I was able to complete my degree, while effectively running a crew of contract landmen and managing our leasing activities based on drill schedule priority . My wife and I do not have children and are willing to relocate within the continental United States for the right opportunity.
Experience
District Land Manager, DPS Penn, LP, Columbiana County, OH 2010 - Current
Promoted to salaried position in August of 2010, directing our organization’s leasing efforts in Columbiana County, OH. Responsibilities include: allocating tasks to contract landmen, reviewing title, quality control checks on leases, drafting curative documents and lease provisions, advising contract landmen on procedural issues, negotiating terms with landowner groups and attorneys, supervising leasing efforts for priority rig lines, hiring and firing decisions, maintaining our office budget, and communicating with our client's in -house landmen. During this time, I have been directly responsible for t he acquisition of more than 16,000 acres taken on more than 1,500 leases, while prioritizing our leasing efforts in 91 drilling units.
Independent Landman - DPS Penn, LP, Greene County, OH 2008 - 2010
Responsibilities included lease acquisition, mineral title searches, surface damage fees, heirship title, farm -ins, and JOA’s. During this time, I led our group in acreage count, acquiring more than 6100 acres over a 23 month time-period. The company also gave me the designation of Area Landman, and the additional responsibilities of handling our highest priority projects and reporting on our crew's productivity reports.
Independent Landman - Dale Resources, LLC, Fort Worth, TX 2008 - 2008
Responsibilities included lease acquisition and associated mineral title in the Barnett Shale. I began in February, but was offered a higher paying position with growth potential in our new project area in Southwest Pennsylvania in August of the same year.
Assistant Sales Manager, LA Fitness, Grand Prairie, TX 2007 - 2008
Promoted in March of 2007, because of excellent sales performance. Attended monthly regional meetings and reported on sales figures and provided forward sales projections. Trained all new hires, maintained sales staff schedule, and organized promotional events.
Sales Representative, LA Fitness, Arlington, TX 2006 - 2007
Made cold calls to elicit business and handled walk-in customers interested in starting a new gym membership. Qualified the customers, explained the benefits, and sold memberships on annual and monthly plans. Quickly became the top sales representative at my location.

My wife and I enjoy a host of outdoor activities, from running trails with our dog Moses, to skiing/snowboarding, wakeboarding, golfing, and entering competitive races. We take pleasure in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
