CAREER OBJECTIVE

To obtain an advanced level accounting position with a strong and

extensive background and experience in general accounting, financial

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Designed and implemented a system for Health One Corporation's self-

funded insurance plan. System automated financial statements as well

as standardized journal entries. This system cut statement

preparation time by 75%, resulting in substantial labor costs

savings.

Structured a $4 million budget for the Rehab Department at the

University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics under five week time

constraint. This budget was implemented as part of the overall

budget for the entire University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics

system.

Utilized proprietary, in-house Honeywell mainframe financial system

to prepare a five-year financial analysis and forecasts for several

hospitals in the Health Central System. Also utilized CAB to prepare

budgets for the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics on

Burroughs mainframe system.

Developed innovative training manuals and conducted training classes

for non-accounting personnel on how to utilize financial programs

for scheduling, budgetary, and cost-control record keeping.

Performed supervisory and management responsibilities for both

accounting and data-entry departments on a variety of tasks and

projects

Proven proficiency with financial software programs, including

Microsoft Access, Excel, Lawson, Oracle, JDE, Great Plains Dynamics,

SAP, Peoplesoft, ADP, Business Objects, Sterling, Baan ERP.
