WORK EXPERIENCE
Pre-Press Manager/Creative
July 2012 - November 2012
Bluemoon Marketing Group Corona, CA
Pre-Press Manager/Creative
Responsible for workflow in art department and/or HP digital press. My
duties included overseeing the digital quality of jobs prior to client
approval as well as coming off the digital press. I had one artist working
under me which I would supervise and instruct on design and layout via my
previous art direction skills. I was also responsible for the color
calibration of their color work-station and the two Epson (large format)
printers which were linked up to it. At Bluemoon, I got the opportunity to
work in Adobe's CS6 creative suite and brush up my skills with the latest
versions of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and Quark X-Press 9.0 to
name a few. My creative skills brought to Bluemoon the ever popular ad
campaign (of 3) 'Got Mooned!', which was highly praised throughout the
Inland Empire. I also had the opportunity to learn a little about Pit-Stop,
which works in conjunction with Adobe Acrobat Pro and gives the artist
imposition capabilities before the actual job gets printed. My knowledge in
CMYK along with RGB has been extensive throughout my career and I am ready
to implement it elsewhere... somewhere that would allow me to bring [to the
table] over 30 years of Pre-press and Creative skills for any, and ALL
industries.
