Sr. Manager, Human Resources – Ohio Valley, 8/2012 to Present

Support the HR functions for the Ohio Valley, which includes 8 airport kitchen/operations in 6 states.

These kitchens employ 350 union represented associates as well as 34 non represented leaders. My

responsibilities include: labor relations, benefits, recruiting, performance management, succession

planning, employee recognition, and safety. Most importantly my role as a business partner in helping

operators effectively manage their human capital to its greatest potential, and create a great working

environment.

• Partner with local leadership to help solve for human relations issues

Designed the recruiting and sourcing strategies that supported the strategic, operational, and business

needs for the Central Region, which included, 8 Airports in 6 states, employing 2,000 employees and 200

managers. Accountable for all phases of recruiting team – sourcing, screening, hiring, on-boarding, staff

development, evaluation, promotion, and separations.

• Dismantled and rebuilt all hiring processes and procedures to decrease time to hire, increase

better talent pipelines, and to follow all federal laws.

• Launched regional measurements and metrics against specific desired goals,

• Partnered with internal stakeholders, to create company-wide skills matrix to aid in succession

planning and resource management, using SuccessFactor’s web-based Performance Appraisal

900 non-exempt and 200 exempt associates. Lead a team of 4 recruiters virtually, to deliver on business

vision and goals, manage external recruiting vendors, applicant tracking system company, and recruiting

budget.
