professional career. This has given me a very diverse range of
design and troubleshooting experience in both mechanical and
electrical engineering. I have managed projects and teams from
concept to completion for capital equipment and machines
intended for resale. I have generated detailed specifications
for suppliers and manufactures to insure equipment is built to
code and performed all required functions within required
timeliness. .
Extensive PC Based automation, data acquisition and detailed
analysis using National Instruments "Lab View" Professional
development system.
15+ Years Specialty machinery design and programming.
Programmed and documented hundreds of machines from concept to
instillation.
Experience with virtually every type of industrial measurement
sensor/transducer, PLC and HMI used in industry today.
Extensive experience assisting customer in diagnosing and
correcting problems with product and process using data
analysis and process monitoring,.
Provided contract engineering through my own company (Vision &
Automation Specialists Inc.) from September 2005 to May 2009
specializing in system design, programming, Controls
Manufacturing and project management.
Experience with almost every PLC system used in automation
today. I am a fast learner capable of adapting and teaching
myself what I need to solve the problem at hand.
Goal/Team oriented. I work well in a team environment and
enjoy learning from others experience.
For the last 3 years I have been working exclusively in new
product design and build. I have developed several new
products, one of which is patent pending. As Project manager
and lead designer I managed a team of engineers and
manufactures to bring the products from conception to
production. As lead engineer it was my responsibility to
generate all specifications and system requirements. I worked
with suppliers and manufactures to get quotes and production
timeliness for multiple products.
Created a power point presentation that convinced the Dayton
Development Coalition to provide $150,000 in funding to
Genesis Defense Technologies to complete the development of
two innovative products..
