OPERATIONS MANAGER

Member of the Executive Management Team recruited to manage production and

support functions at Mills Manufacturing Plants in the Earlville, IA

fabrication plant, Washington, MO machining plant, and the Monticello, IA

assembly plant. Responsible for the receipt of materials and supplies, and

timely delivery of finished products to customers, meeting or exceeding

quality specifications and requirements. Supervise raw materials, work-in-

process and finished goods inventories ensuring conformance with plant

goals and objectives. Reducing cost by developing and administering

programs to minimize waste and to improve quality, methods, and operating

efficiencies. Manage all plant safety programs to ensure effective safety

and loss prevention programs are conducted. Direct, coach, and counsel

PLANT MANAGER/LEAN MANUFACTURING AND SAFETY CONSULTANT

Award-winning Manager recruited to manage all production and support

functions at ITW's West Union, IA plant, which then moved to the corporate

location in 2011 to Glenview, IL. Challenged to ensure prompt and

economical receipt of materials and supplies, and timely delivery of

finished products to customers, meeting or exceeding quality specifications

and requirements. Charged with monitoring and appraising effectiveness of

plant operations regularly and systematically, including responsiveness to

Joined Eaton as a Machine Operator in 1981, advancing with the company

Interim Plant Superintendent during Plant Superintendent's 6-month

sabbatical in 1996. Held accountable for all aspects of manufacturing

operations with operating budget of $30M+. Utilized TOC management

automation lines.
