IBM DataStage ETL Developer

Currently Lead ETL Developer in three member team responsible for all data warehousing

technologies including DataStage ETL, OBIEE, and Oracle EPM. Was sole developer/administrator

for the entire environment for six months before team was complete. Prepared all three systems for go

live date in 2012.

Member of three person team responsible for conversion of existing WSU portal to campus wide

PeopleSoft Portal implementation in spring of 2010. Duties include daily application maintenance and

trouble shooting, content creation, role creation, content security, user account administration, and

other duties as assigned. Some of those duties included designing and configuring OBIEE.

Key projects/roles:

Serve as Lead DataStage ETL developer on WSU campus which provides services to more than

40,000 users.

Design, develop, modify, build, test and implement custom ETL jobs for OBIEE go live

Modify, build, test, and tune ETL jobs delivered by Oracle for PeopleSoft implementation go live

Lead in guiding hosting provider to improve performance by replacing dated hardware and

inappropriate architecture

Converted all legacy WSU content to new PeopleSoft Portal environment.

Developed and tested Jmeter scripts in a variety of usage scenarios to assist Oracle On Demand in

performance tuning for the production portal hardware and software.

Created new and original pagelet content to enhance functionality and usability of the new portal.

Provided development support to auxiliary departments using XSLT and HTML to transform their

data feeds into usable pagelets for their constituent audience.

Created Oracle BI publisher/Oracle BI Answers interface tables, interactive reports, and end user

dashboards as a part of the WSU evaluation process before purchase.
