Responsibilities: Held position of Biomedical Engineer in Orthopaedic Biomechanics Lab. Supervise activities in orthopaedic research including an ongoing orthopaedic resident's research program. Worked as a technical consultant with physicians and company engineers on a daily basis to help achieve their research and development goals. This included:

Worked as part of a project management team with specialization in orthopaedics, podiatry.

Taking project from conception stage, through design, experimentation, real-time data collection and analysis, statistics, publication and presentation.

Worked closely with orthopaedic physicians, podiatric surgeons, general surgeons, neurosurgeons, plastic reconstructive surgery residents, ENT surgeons.

Worked alongside engineers from various companies; mainly in spinal implants, hip and fracture fixation implants, artificial ligaments, tendons, suture manufacturers.

Projects undertaken in wrist biomechanics, shoulder biomechanics, podiatry, spine biomechanics, real-time data analysis using analog to digital conversion, spinal instrumentation testing, hip implant testing, holographic imaging, image processing, statistical data analysis, test equipment conception and design, animal and cadaveric surgery/harvesting.
