OBJECTIVE:

I’m a very motivated individual and I am looking to obtain any full time position. I work

in the natural gas industry and I have plenty of experience in my field. I can do anything from

welding and fabrication to drafting or inspection. I have been in engineering for a few years now

at my current job and in college. I do all of our drafting along with fitting and weld tracking as

well as final as-built drawings. I have great communication skills and I can multi task very well.

I would like to get out of the paper work of full time drafting and get more hands on with my

work. I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to pipeline construction, fabrication and

management. I’m also good with prints and I am comfortable doing projects on my own. I can

follow procedures according to vender specifications. I’m great at problem solving, I am easy to

work with I listen well when given a task to complete, and I’m sure I can be exactly the worker

you are looking for. I’m ready to start today! If hired, I will help make improvements and I

QUALIFICATIONS:

Auto Cad: I am comfortable with blue prints and large scale plans as well as small

mechanical drawings. I work with auto cad a lot reading prints and drawing piping at my

current job with MEC construction. I do structural drawings, mechanical, and piping. I

enjoy drawing and I take pride in my work.

Civil Engineering: Fairmont State.

Hands on Experience: At MEC we build gas compressor stations. We do everything

from skid mounted gathering units to turbine compressors to mainline natural gas

compressor stations involving both large storage and transmission facilities. As well as

relocation of compressors and total facility upgrades.

Basic office Skills: Microsoft office, e-mail, fax, and more.

Welding: I can mig and stick weld. . (Familiar with pipe welding procedures) I have

done some structural welding in the shop. I also weld on my own at home and on the

side.

Other skills: I can run just about any piece of equipment you put me in.

EDUCATION:

2005-2009: Grafton High, Diploma.

2010-2011: Fairmont State University (civil engineering major).

2010: Mining safety card 80 hr.

EMPLOYMENT:

2011-Today: Draftsmen/ Engineer, MEC construction

I have plenty of job experience in the past two years while at MEC construction. I have

worked on large projects all over the east coast I read prints and have a lot to do with the

fabrication of gas pipe line and construction of gas compressor stations. I know what it takes to

make a job run smoothly in the natural gas industry. While at MEC I have had some major

promotions in my career. First I became one of the lead pipe fitters of the floor I work on. And

later I graduated to an office job drawing and managing what we build in the shop. I work with

our engineer, scaling down the prints to isometric sheets for the fitters and welders to build. I

take pride in my work, and I enjoy what I do. I just feel like lately MEC has been holding me

back. I need to be with a company that can further my career. I am good at taking leadership, and

getting the job not only done, but done right.

2009: Maintenance, National Cemetery

While working at the Grafton, WV National Cemetery I had many hours of hands-on

experience with basic tools and equipment and some welding. I have also had a great deal of

experience with heavy equipment and I've had mechanical experience and machine maintenance.

I ran the dump truck, skid steer, and hoe.

2005-2008:

Construction, Boyce contracting during this job I was learning the basics and how to fend

for myself, with my father and his business. This was my first real job and I still help him today.
