PROJECT SUMMARY:
Project 1 july 2012
Title: Advanced Indexing with Inverted Files
Description:
1. The goals of this project were very simple. There are three tables: event, e_keyword and e_use_keyword all of which were stored as text files.
2. Reading in data from a text file that contained keyword ID’s and the event ID’s and creating inverted lists so that searching for keywords and data were much simpler
3. Implemented this project in Java.
Responsibility:
1. Coding using Java
2. Compiling and running the software.
3. Writing test plans, test cases for the developed screen in Mercury Quality Centre.
4. Executing test cases and fixing bugs through unit testing.
5. Generating daily progress reports
6. Co-ordinating with other programmers in the team to ensure that all the modules compliment each other well.
Project 2: Mar 2011
Title: Integration and Communication of various API’s of Social Networking Sites
Description:
1. This project is a web based application developed on ASP.Net used for communicating between various applications like face book, twitter, Orkut etc.
2. The main objective of this project is to integrate APIs of different social networking sites in the user’s web page.
Responsibilities:
1. Web Applications development using Asp.Net
2. Contribution to requirement gathering, Technical design specifications. .
3. Utilized ADO.NET technology extensively for data retrieving, querying, storage and manipulation.
4. Unit Testing using the Microsoft unit testing
5. Asp.Net Web Services development.
6. Help the team with Technical documentation
7. Handling the common Interfacing functionalities between the modules.
8. Implemented HTML Server Controls, ASP Server Controls along with Validation Controls
Project 3 : Aug 2010
Title: Fraud detection in credit cards
Description:
1. This web based application has been developed on ASP.Net using SQL Server database, which plays a major role in detecting the Fraud that can be done in the credit cards by introducing face scanning, finger printing.

3. This provides a level of protection to the bank/card holder. The system closely examines the authenticity of the payment instrument before sending it to the payment gateway for processing the transaction.
4. The customer does not become aware of the indiscreet screening process. The merchant receives an alert automatically in case of credit card fraud detection.
Responsibilities
1. involved in complete Life Cycle including Analysis, Design, Development and Testing.
2. Developed modules of the application in ASP.NET
3. involved in implementing client side functionalities using java script and also involved in creating CSS classes for the application
4. Created design documents, technical specifications – UML class diagrams.
5. Utilized ADO.NET technology extensively for data retrieving, querying, storage and manipulation.
6. Implemented HTML Server Controls, ASP Server Controls along with Validation Controls.
