Rabigh Power Plant II project consist of four conventional oil fired

generating units, each with a nominal rating of 700MW giving a total

electrical output from the plant of 2800MW. Each unit will consist of

an oil fired boiler supplying a 700MW steam turbine, along with

necessary ancillary plant and equipment. The electricity generated by

the plant will be exported to the national grid network.

Job Description:

. Actual Supervision for Installation of electrical equipment such

Power Transformers, Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear, Isolate

Phase Bus Duct, Cast Resin Insulated Phase Bus Duct, Rectifier

and DC & UPS

. Review contract documents such design electrical drawing(single

line, schematic, shop drawing, P & ID, layout) and technical

specifications.

. Actual Responsible for the preparation of Method Statement(MS)

and Inspection Test plan (ITP) and Site Test Procedure (STP).

. Liaise with client's representative, project management and

subcontractors to make sure smooth flow of project

implementation.

. Knowledgeable of Project Management Information System (PMIS).

. Execute and implement all governing standard such as IEC, IEEE,

NEMA, NEC, NFPA & NACE and other related standards and

specification procedures to electrical & instrumentation work

scope.

. Responsible for Material Take Off, estimation on electrical

concern based on approved design and drawings.

. Strong knowledge in QA/QC works like RFI, RFA, OPR, CAR, & NCR.

. Consolidate all documents ECC, MCC, CCC, Pre commissioning &

Commissioning checklist.

. Providing technical assistance, direction and support to

subcontractor.

. Field supervision for construction and installation of cable

tray, conduits, cable pulling and termination.

. Progressive performing inspections and initiating documentation

of electrical system installation on an ongoing basis especially

related to single line diagram and schematic wiring diagram.

. Perform and authorize raise working permit as per job schedule,

execute various works, ensuring compliance with safety

requirements.

. Perform the Vacuum and Oil Filtration works.

. Responsible in interpreting test result, remarks and

recommendations.

. Responsible for Testing & Pre- Commissioning work of Electrical

System, Instrumentation & Controls.

. Knowledgeable on handling and conducting high voltage test instruments

like Hi-Pot, oil dielectric breakdown voltage instrument(75kV-100kV),

insulation resistance(5kV megger) tester, transformer turns ratio, ducter,

power factor, variac, earth-resistance tester, phase sequence tester and

etc.

Job Description:

. Review Electrical Design and Specification per system of

Electrical Field.

. Review electrical one line diagram, P & I Diagram and design

analysis prior to execution of works.

. Responsible for Installation of the following system.

> Power Generating System

> Power Distribution System

> Lighting System

> Fire Detection & Alarm System(FDAS)

> Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning System(HVAC)

> Fire Fighting System

> Indoor & Outdoor Hydrant System

> Fire Sprinkler System

> CO2 Extinguishing System

. Prepare electrical equipment, devices, and specifications in

accordance to its usage.

. Actual supervision for the installation of Power Transformer,

MV/LV Switchgear, MCC, Power Distribution Boards, Control Panel &

Fire Detection, ACCU Panel Board, AHU Panel Board & Extinguishing

Control Panel.

. Responsible for the installation of 11KV Electric Driven Pump,

.400KV Diesel Engine Pump, Jockey Pump & Booster Pump

. Supervise the installation of .400 & 11KV cable pulling and

termination.

. Supervise the installation of instruments & control cables with

respect to the design drawing with FC approved.

. Conduct preliminary inspection at site prior to final inspection

with consultant.

. Prepare and submit inspection notification for consultant/owner

engineer.

. Responsible for Testing & Commissioning work of Electrical

System, Instrumentation & Controls.

. Handling and conducting high voltage test instruments like Hi-Pot, oil

. Involve in test runs and performance test of pumps, compressor,

valves & etc.

. Ensure that work execution at site is compliance with the quality

required by the specification and code.
