L SKILLS AND TALENTS:
I have professional training in the Direct Instruction and Open Court Reading Programs, and the
TERC Math Program. I am certified to teach the Macrobiotic cooking program and in Holistic
Nutrition, both of which I use personally with success. I play piano and sing. I have performed
publicly and taught, having been known for my captivating class projects at school functions. I
tutor Reading, Math standardized and G.E.D. test preparation. I own a nonprofit organization
that provides supplemental education services to at risk children and adults. I am proficient in
the Moodle and Study Island online teaching programs and am currently using them in online
courses at Learning Zone of Alcester, England.
