EXPERIENCE
2008-Present. Special Project Manager / Consultant.. Major work includes:
providing facility management support services to a rural hospital including TJC inspections,
developing a hospital evacuation floor plan, service line feasibility reports, risk management study, and
other projects as assigned. Also serving as a coordinator for healthalamo.com health information portal.
As part of this online project I was responsible for designing the Texas Hospital Finder project.
Senior Project Manager, Technology Services Department-Northside ISD, San Antonio,
Texas-1999-2008.
Northside ISD is one of the largest school districts in Texas with over 100,000 students. As the
technology project manager for Northside I was responsible for managing over $ 60 Million
enterprise level projects during a ten year period. Duties included deployment planning,
installation management, and final walkthrough supervision. Duties included coordination with
NISD IT operations, systems administration, database specialists, and instructional technology
staff. Other job responsibilities included technology acquisitions / purchasing and vendor
supervision. Responsible for regular presentations to the leaderships at all levels. Technology
acquisition duties included project cost analysis, vendor selection, acquisition planning, and
project implementation. Supervised vendors on a regular basis and conducted routine daily on-
site supervision of multiple projects. Submitted project status reports to the administrators and
participated in monthly project planning meetings.
Other duties with Northside ISD included:
- Working with instructional technology staff in integrating technology and curriculum.
- Supervision of software/ hardware deployments campus wide.
- Designed over 168 instructional technology labs in over 65 schools
- Coordinated technology training with campus instructional technologists on a regular
basis.

Served as Director of NewSouth, Inc. 1984-1990. Worked on many diversified projects for clients.
Primary work included serving as a project director to EHTI Medical Corporation for nearly five years.
Work included assisting EHTI in developing a strategic plan to market neuro-muscle stimulation
products in the international market. Work included coordination of international clinical trials on the
product and preparation of clinical outcome reports for the company.
