Senior Design Project Fall 2012

Collaborated with four other Mechanical Engineering Seniors to design an infant

soothing device to use motion in 5 axes, vibration and sound to put a baby to sleep.

Project won People’s Choice for best project at the Senior Design Expo.

Responsible for programming and testing of the controls of the 5 motors in C through

use of an Arduino.

Motion Controls Project Spring 2012

Collaborated with two other Mechanical Engineering Seniors to control a hydraulic arm

to create a pitching motion with ability to hit a desired target.

Used LabVIEW to implement several methods of feedback controls, including closed

loop, state-space, and feed-forward with inverse kinematics.

Work Experience

Summer job writing code for the virtual robotics program and science program for middle

school level education to be used in Broward County Schools.

Worked in Java and JavaScript to add functionality to the VR engine.
