Improve plate quality by having all butt cut plates to be processed by

Tested new tapes for mounting in order to achieve a better quality and

reduce bounce.

Heavily involved with graphics- suggesting changes to current label

formats to reduce skip out and bounce.

Improved life of print sleeves by adding a protection ring on both sides

of sleeve.

Reduced the consignment inventory level to optimize space and eliminate

aged ink

Tested different types of blades and seals at press to increase quality

and reduce ink waste

Technical Association in 2006 and a silver award in 2009

Experience with BST camera system- setting up the program to identify

quality problems

Involved in a schedule review team-organized schedule to optimize

in order to have the machine operating properly (CLC, and A1, and A0

plates, adding ink to each cavity and also chose the correct anilox. Set

impressions and registration on 8 decks in about 5 minutes

Performed quality checks for ink adhesion, adhesive coating weight, green

bond and seal test

Entered information in quality check sheets and SAP quality module

Involved in label rating meetings once a month. Helped all departments

recognize the defects that occur at the press, such as over metering,

Halo, pinhole, skip out, dirty print, and registration problems
