Project Description: Mission Control - RMD (Risk Management Development)

GUI -tool

RMD GUI application is to provide Risk manager to view the reporting

information organized within a personalized workspace and improve

investment solutions to individual and institutional investors.

Involved in enhancement and production support activities to monitor the

batch cycles, which loads the data for the RMD reporting tool in order to

make sure the information available in the tool is accurate for performing

risk calculations. This batch cycles also contributes data for other

applications like Securities lending, Prime brokerage, Futures and Custody

etc.

organized within a context-driven, personalized workspace and to improve

the user experience through the simplification, consolidation and

retirement of legacy applications (Nexus, PM Web, CoInsite, Trading

Trend, Impact Investing and many more). EWS application has fully adopted

CDE (Common Data Environment) data in the subject areas where data is

available in CDE. Now EWS DB team is contributing Trades, PM and Analyst

data into CDE environment.

I was involved in end to end developer to bring data from Sybase to

oracle using replication tool (GG-direct connect) & Informatica, Worked

on creating packages & store procedures to migrate fund performance data

from legacy system (Sybase) to be system (oracle).This is been

accomplished by creating Common consumption framework (CCF) purely using

PLSQL & SQL language and Also Involved in Autosys part of development by

creating JIL files for scheduling ETL loader jobs.

Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world with over 6500 stores in 15

countries. Wal-Mart has various categories of products and types of stores

which are replenished using a chain of about 150 Distribution centers (DC)

globally. There are multiple types of DCs based on the type of merchandise

that the DC distributes and the type of stores it services.

Project Description :

GLS Phase 2, In which Wal-Mart is about to embark upon, aims at evolving

GLS Version 1.0 into a complete standalone WMS System which will serve

International General (IG) Merchandise DC's running GDS and MGDS WMS

(including Wal-mart Central America - WCA), US Grocery DC's (Merchandized

and conventional) and US Sam's DC's.

The vision is to develop and maintain a single Warehouse Management System

which is functionally rich and technologically flexible, allowing its

distribution customers globally to operate at the lowest cost. As a part of

fulfilling this vision, Wal-Mart had proposed to migrate the existing

applications into one global system known as Global Logistics System (GLS)

which would encapsulate functionalities of different Warehouse management

systems running across DCs. The GLS program has been planned to execute in

4 phases. Wal-Mart's technical team has completed the Phase I which defines

the common data schema across all the WM systems.

Project Description : DCS (Depot Computerization System). This is an ERP

that maintains the data of all the sections of the depot. The sections

include stores, workshop, accounts, cash, vehicles and manpower. In the

above mention package effective measures were taken to modularize all the

sections and avoid misuse of the package modules by the other sections.

. The Security Module creates different users and assigns roles

to the new user. The security module gives provision to change

the password and also to remove a user.

. The Traffic and Admin module handles the all the transactions

related to crew allocation and fixing up a schedule to a

vehicle and taking out all revenue statements regularly.

. The Ticket Revenue Module handles all the transaction related

to the revenue collection from the vehicles. This also helps

the depots to keep track of the ticket details and the ticket

numbers. This module takes care of the ticket issue, auditing

of the same and keeps track of balance tickets in the

conductor's passbook. This module is one of the strongest

parts of this module.

. Stores Module handles the transactions of stores of depots.

This module takes care of receive, issue and the Enquirer

modules to balance the movement of the stores materials into

and from stores. This module has enough reports to find out

the fuel and other material consumption.

. Workshop Module handles all the details about the vehicle

servicing and scrapping of the vehicles after it has covered

certain kilometers.
