Reported to Chief Technology Officer. Responsible for developing and maintaining long term strategy road

maps. Supervise site operations, projects and personnel. Manage RFP process to identify qualified vendors

of equipment and services to be select one to install a world-class satellite operations center. Skillfully

recruit and assemble a high performance team of culturally diverse spacecraft operations engineers.

Identify and manage training program. Train and mentor staff to use test equipment to monitor, measure

and analyze digital satellite transmissions.

Maintained a high level of quality assurance as a result of leading technical staff to provide timely and

effective responses to customer requests. Championed a CRM system to be used by cross-functional

departments. Ensure continued operations on a 24X7 basis using all geographically dislocated assets.

Provided metric reporting to senior management to give indication of performance of the Network

Operations Center, Satellite Payload performance, and customer related situations to include carrier

activations and deactivations, service implementations, troubleshooting and interference. Interface with

other departments (stakeholders) to include Sales, engineering, Product development and implementation.

Prepare a training program for customers to improve relationships and reduce troubleshooting efforts.

Anomaly reporting to include satellite based problems and ground based problems. Initiate escalation

procedures to report anomalies to management and other stakeholders (including the customer) with

frequent updates and anomaly resolution reports. Support customers with RMA processes between them

and their vendors.

Manage product development effort to identify latest technological advances in VSAT operations and

manage Information Assurance activities. Currently have 8 direct reports (1 Frequency Asset Manager and

7 Spacecraft Payload Operations Controllers). Will assume responsibilities over the Spacecraft Operations

Center when it is active and will assume 8 additional direct reports. Will also assume Ground Segment

operations responsibilities with an additional 6 direct reports. Manage and configure network monitoring

tools including Integral’s Monics, Optimal Satcom’s ECM, Scheduall, etc. Prepared to travel frequently to

any location worldwide for extended periods of time. Mentor staff to cope with extreme stress and teach

them how to deal with extreme situations in a controllable and professional business like manner.
